We’re seeking a spirited Intern Video Editor who can turn raw footage into scroll stopping stories while learning alongside an accomplished creative team. You’ll assist on brand campaigns, product explainers, social reels, and event recaps, building narrative intuition and sharpening technical skills in a fast paced, feedback driven studio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in cutting and assembling footage for social media, ads, and internal projects.
- Add basic transitions, sound effects, and captions to enhance viewer experience.
- Organize and tag media assets, maintaining an efficient file-management system.
- Collaborate on storyboards and shot lists during pre-production brainstorming.
- Resize and re-format videos for multiple platforms and aspect ratios.
- Implement feedback quickly, iterating toward polished final exports.
- Stay up to date with platform trends, editing techniques, and viral content styles.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve; exposure to After Effects is a plus.
- Understanding of fundamental editing principles, pacing, continuity, and audio balance.
- Portfolio or showreel of academic, freelance, or personal projects demonstrating creativity.
- Strong organizational habits and a willingness to learn new tools and workflows.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Current student or graduate in any field, formal film or design education welcome but not mandatory.
